Pepperl + Fuchs New Multi-Pixel Array Photoelectric Sensor

RL31-8-H-800, Pepperl+Fuchs' newest multi-pixel array (MPA) photoelectric sensor series, combines the benefits of background suppression, sharply defined sensing and insensitivity to object color, with the measuring capacity of a distance measurement sensor. RL31-8-H-800 is a photoelectric sensor using MPA technology, the latest advancement in photoelectric sensing. The sensor uses a row of over one hundred light-sensitive components which detect distance based on how the triangulation of reflected light varies by range. Four applications are shown in one packaging machine. Each employs a different sensing mode setting, all of which are included with the RL31-8-H-800 sensor and are accessible via IO-Link.
